MCC Video Receives 2007 Telly Award
|
About the Award
The Michigan Cancer Consortium (MCC) video “Building Bridges” received a 2007 Bronze Telly Award in the non-broadcast division for Best Health and Wellness Video.
The Telly Awards honor the very best local, regional and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions and work created for the Web. Since 1978, their mission has been to strengthen the visual arts community by inspiring, promoting and supporting creativity.
With a record 14,362 entries from all 50 states and around the world, the 2007 competition was the most competitive and successful in the history of the Telly Awards. The 28th Annual Telly Award winners include companies, agencies and organizations of all sizes, from large multi-national media companies to small ad agencies and local production houses.
A prestigious judging panel of over 40 accomplished industry professionals, each a past winner of a Silver Telly, the top honor, judged the competition, upholding the historical standard of excellence that Telly represents. Judges evaluated entries to recognize distinction in creative work — entries do not compete against each other, but are judged against a high standard of merit.
Less than 10 percent of entries are chosen as winners of a Silver Telly, the highest honor. Other outstanding work is awarded a Bronze Telly.
